I PROMISE I WILL:
- 1. Act in the role of your fiduciary, recommending what is in your best interests.
- 2. Professionally and personally committed to maintaining client privacy and confidentiality.
- 3. Meet a professional standard of care when making recommendations (give prudent advice).
- 4. Never put our financial interests ahead of yours when making recommendations (give loyal advice).
- 5. Avoid misleading statements about conflicts of interest, fees, and investments (provide our conflicts of interest disclosure document).
- 6. Follow policies and procedures designed to ensure that we give advice that is in your best interest.
- 7. Provide you with comprehensive education to help you understand your money and make the best decisions.
- 8. We will meet with you as many times as needed to educate you properly, answer your questions, and build your plan, using our "No-Rush Appointment Cycle", never rushing you through the planning process.
- 9. Provide you a true assessment, a "Second Opinion," of the current state of your financial position.
- 10. Determine the "true level of risk" you are comfortable with and want to take, and assess the "actual level of risk" you are currently taking; it will usually be much higher than what you were told or what you think.
- 11. Help estimate the actual fees you are paying; they will usually be much higher than you were told or thought. (charge no more than is reasonable for our services).
- 12. Help you explore options and alternatives to meet your objectives and increase your security.
- 13. Determine the probability your income will last your entire lifetime. (specific retirement income needs and goals and create a plan to achieve success).
- 14. Work collaboratively on your plan with your advisor team, if applicable, employees, and consultants to make sure you receive the most complete, accurate, powerful, and unbiased plan possible.
- 15. After implementation, we will meet with you in the future (Annual Review) to review progress and keep your plan up to date.
